With all the planning and preparation that every bride goes through, it’s easy to forget taking care of yourself and your beauty especially in the last weeks leading to your big day. Here are our beauty tips ahead of your wedding. It’s time you pamper yourself!
Facials
While you shouldn’t start any new treatments that could irritate your skin in the last 3 weeks before the date, make sure you don’t apply your facials in the days leading to your wedding or before you test your bridal makeup to avoid any breakouts. Most importantly, don’t leave it until the last minute to think about your skin care routine. Plump your skin up with Olay’s Regenerist Micro-sculpting Serum, and protect it using Olay’s White Radiance Protective Cream and Night Restoring Cream.
Waxing and threading
Removing unwanted hair will also leave your skin looking irritated, which is why like facials, waxing and threading should be done several days before the big day. It all depends on your skin type: how long it takes for the irritation to dissipate and how quickly your hair starts growing back. So schedule your appointments accordingly.
Tanning
If you are fair-skinned, you don’t want fake tan disasters or for your complexion to look off and unnatural. So plan a trial run beforehand, making sure the color suits you and not having any reaction to it. If tanned skin is usually your go-to look, schedule an appointment 48 hours in advance to avoid patches and for your beach glow to settle.
Massage
After busy weeks of planning, you will be feeling stressed and will need to relax before the big day. So book a full body massage 3 to 5 days before to de-stress and book another one at the start of your honeymoon with your groom. Being up and about, and dancing all night long will leave your body sore as well.
Nails
When showing off your wedding ring on the big day, you will need beautiful hands and immaculate nails. Make sure to book your manicure and pedicure appointment as close as possible to your wedding day to avoid chipped nails. Also, try out different colors in advance to make sure you get the right shade.
Hair treatments
Nothing says happy bride more than shiny hair. The best time to change your hair color, to touch up your roots and add highlights is at least one month before the wedding date. If it doesn’t suit you, you’ll still have time to change it. Use Pantene Pro-V Colored Hair Repair shampoo and conditioner as early as possible to keep your colored hair protected and nourished.
