Ingredients (serves 10 people):
1 tin of condensed milk
3 tablespoons of cocoa powder
2 tablespoons of butter (plus extra for greasing)
Add the butter and condensed milk to a non stick pan on a low to medium heat and stir.
Mix the cocoa powder with a little water, when you have a smooth paste add to the butter and condensed milk in the pan.
Keep stirring the pan for 15 until the sauce has thickened. You must stir constantly or the sauce will stick and burn. Your sauce will be ready when you scoop some sauce on to a wooden spoon and it takes a few seconds before it drops back in to the pan.
Once your sauce is thick enough pour on to a plate and put in to the fridge to chill for half an hour.
When set (after half an hour or so) remove from the fridge. Grease the palms of your hands and fingers with a little butter, scoop small teaspoons of the mixture in to your hands and roll in to a ball. Then roll your ball in the chocolate sprinkles and you are done. You should get about 20-25 fudgy balls.
You can use other ingredients to cover your brigadeiros such as nuts, cocoa powder and coconut if you'd like to be more adventurous.
