Recipe: 15-minute fruit desserts

Banana Delight!

  • Ingredients:
  • 2 cups of vanilla frozen yogurt, softened
  • 6 gingersnap cookies, chopped
  • 2 bananas, sliced
  • ¼ cup chopped toasted pecans
Layer equal portions of frozen yogurt, chopped gingersnaps, bananas and pecans into 4 small dessert cups or glasses. Freeze until the yogurt is firm, at least 10 minutes.

Fast Strawberry Frozen Yogurt

  • 4 cups of frozen unsweetened strawberries
  • 4 cups of frozen unsweetened strawberries
  • 3 tablespoons of low calorie sugar
  • ½ cup nonfat plain yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice

Combine strawberries and the low calorie sugar in a food processor and pulse. Combine yogurt and lemon juice in a measuring cup; with the machine on, gradually pour the mixture through the feed tube. Process until smooth and creamy. Serve immediately.
